End-of-Life Doula Support
Compassionate end-of-life doula support for individuals and families in Macon, Georgia.

End of Life Doula (EOLD) Support at Living Whole Studio offers non-medical, heart-centered support for individuals and families as they move through serious illness, caregiving, and the end-of-life journey. This work is about being a steady point of connection — someone families can call, lean on, and trust as they navigate unfamiliar and emotional terrain.
While medical teams focus on treatments and physical care, the doula remains focused on the human experience of dying: the fears, the love, the conversations, the quiet moments, and the questions that don’t always fit into a medical visit. As a doula, I work alongside hospice and healthcare providers to offer continuity, emotional presence, and compassionate guidance families can rely on.
EOLD care may be supportive if you or someone you love is:
• facing a serious or life-limiting illness
• beginning hospice or comfort-focused care
• navigating caregiving and anticipatory grief
• wanting someone to turn to between medical visits
• seeking guidance and reassurance during the dying process

Please know you do not need to wait until the final days to reach out. Having a familiar, compassionate presence early on can make the journey feel less overwhelming and less lonely.

How End-of-Life Doula Support Works
End-of-life doula care is complementary to hospice and palliative care.
While hospice and palliative teams focus on medical treatment, symptom management, and clinical care, my role is to support the human and relational side of the experience.
I often work alongside these care teams to help individuals and families:
• understand what is happening in the dying process
• navigate conversations about wishes and care preferences
• prepare emotionally and practically for the end of life
• advocate for the dignity and voice of the person receiving care
• create meaningful moments of connection and closure
• feel less alone during a time that can feel overwhelming
My role is not to replace medical providers, but to help families make sense of the experience and move through it with greater clarity, support, and understanding.
